Had some fun on a “realistic trackday” online server in Assetto Corsa, with me new (to me) Oculus Rift DK2. Crazy how realistic the footage looks in terms of head movement, looks like watching a real lap POV. In the Tuned FD RX7 lap above, everything was going great until I spun at the last section :(.
370Z Nismo lap below was great all the way through, minus a few funny mishaps with some other drivers.
Enjoy!

IMO Asetto corsa feels like you're driving on ice

Standard issue Logitech G27... She’s done the job for 4 years so far, I had a G25 before it as well for 5 years.

Not sure if you’ve played it recently, but with the new tire physics model driving feels a lot less “icy” than what it used to... I have a lot more confidence racing in it then I ever have with the more realistic grip.

Ask and ye shall receive. It’s pretty basic, w/ a recently built gaming rig (GTX 970, 4690K), G27 to control the madness, and all the visuals handled through the DK2. I’m planning to get a playseat in the near future (rather than the ol’ desk) to complete the experience.

Not bad! I just bought a second-hand G27 myself and knocked together a quick car seat and wood frame to hold it all in infront of my desk, and i’m quite liking it so far :)
